According to the provisions of Clause 1, Article 33 of the Law on Enterprises 2020:
“Article 33. Providing information about business registration content
1. Organizations and individuals have the right to request management agencies state on business registration and the Business Registration Authority provides information stored on the National Information System on Business Registration and must pay fees according to the provisions of law.”
Looking up business information can be done in the form specified in Article 36 of Decree 01/2021/ND-CP as follows:
“Article 36. Providing provide business registration information
1. Information is provided publicly and free of charge on the National Business Registration Portal at https://dangkyquangdoanh.gov.vn, including: business name; head office address; business line; full name of legal representative.
2. Individuals who need to provide business registration information as prescribed in Clause 1, Article 33 of the Law on Enterprises send a request to provide information to the National Information Portal on Business Registration or the State Management Agency on Business Registration or the Provincial business registration authority to be provided with information.
The state management agency for business registration provides information about businesses stored on the National Business Registration Information System. Provincial business registration agencies provide information about businesses kept at the National Database on Business Registration within the local management.”
At the same time, Article 5 of Circular 01/2021/TT-BKHDT also regulates the form of business information lookup as follows:
“Article 5. Providing business registration information career
1. Organizations and individuals can request to be provided with information specified in Clause 1, Article 33 of the Law on Enterprises at the Ministry of Planning and Investment (Business Registration Support Center under the Department of Business Registration Management) or at the Business Registration Office where the enterprise is headquartered or through the National Business Registration Portal and must pay the prescribed fee.
The business registration support center has the authority to provide Information of all businesses is kept on the National Business Registration Information System. The Business Registration Office has the authority to provide information about businesses stored in the National Business Registration Database within the scope of local management.
2. Fees for providing information comply with the provisions of law.”

Looking up information on the National Information Portal on business registration
Step 1: Access the National Business Registration Portal at https://dangkylanhdoanh.gov.vn
Step 2: Enter your tax code/business code or business name in the search box in the top left corner and then click the search button.
