1. Businesses are allowed to use Vietnamese Dong, foreign currency in cash, bank transfer, and players’ credit cards to exchange for conventional currencies when participating in prize-winning electronic games. Foreign currency receipts and expenditures of enterprises are carried out after being licensed by the State Bank of Vietnam according to the provisions of Chapter IV of this Decree.
2. Enterprises are allowed to collect foreign currency in cash and transfer money from prize-winning electronic game business activities and use this foreign currency cash and transfer to pay prizes to players when winning prizes and other foreign exchange activities after being licensed by the State Bank of Vietnam according to the provisions of Chapter IV of this Decree.
Thus, foreigners can use foreign currency in cash to exchange for conventional currency when participating in prize-winning electronic games.
