To operate a dance studio, an enterprise must be granted the Certificate of Satisfaction of Conditions for Sports Business Operations. The dossier includes: the Application for the Certificate (Form No. 02) and the Summary of Preparation of Business Conditions (Form No. 03), accompanied by a copy of the Enterprise Registration Certificate (Article 19 of Decree 36/2019/ND-CP). The dossier is submitted to the specialized agency for physical training and sports under the provincial People’s Committee where the sports business location is registered (Article 20 of Decree 36/2019/ND-CP).

1. Dossier for requesting the Certificate for operating a dance studio

Under Article 19 of Decree 36/2019/ND-CP, the dossier for requesting the Certificate includes:

– The Application for the Certificate per Form No. 02 in the Appendix issued with the Decree;

– The Summary of Preparation of Sports Business Conditions per Form No. 03, accompanied by a copy of the Enterprise Registration Certificate; copies of diplomas, certificates and certifications of professional staff (if falling into the cases prescribed in Articles 15, 16 and 17 of this Decree).

2. To which agency is the dossier submitted?

Under Article 20 of Decree 36/2019/ND-CP, the enterprise submits 01 set of dossier to the specialized agency for physical training and sports under the provincial People’s Committee where the sports business location is registered; where the enterprise has multiple sports business locations, it submits to the specialized agency for physical training and sports under the provincial People’s Committee where the enterprise’s head office is located.

The agency granting the Certificate issues the enterprise a dossier receipt; where the dossier needs amendment or supplementation, the agency notifies directly or in writing within 03 working days from the date of receipt. Dossier receipt and result delivery are carried out at the agency’s head office or by post or electronically.

3. In which cases is an enterprise’s Certificate revoked?

Under Decree 36/2019/ND-CP, the Certificate of Satisfaction of Conditions for Sports Business Operations is revoked when the enterprise: no longer satisfies one of the sports business conditions for which the Certificate was granted; forges the dossier requesting the Certificate; leases, lends or transfers the Certificate; terminates sports business operations; or seriously violates regulations on safety and order in sports business.
