1. What is .vn domain name business according to the law?
According to the law, in order to do business in .vn domain names, you must become a .vn domain name registrar. When providing “.vn” domain name registration and maintenance services to entities in foreign countries, in addition to complying with the laws of that country, the “.vn” domain name registrar must comply with the provisions of Vietnamese law on the Internet.”
2. What are the necessary conditions to become a .vn domain name registrar?
According to Clause 2, Article 14 of Decree 72/2013/ND-CP on the management, provision and use of Internet services and online information (amended by Decree 150/2018/ND-CP on amending the Decree related to business investment conditions and administrative procedures in the field of information and communication), when the following conditions are met, the .vn domain name registrar can Services will be provided:
